Hello and welcome to our Dark Knight RPG, on behalf of all our wonderful and friendly staff I greet you.
Now for the rules, you must read the rules all the way through. If you do not you will not be able to access the 'Sign Your Life Away' board, which you need to sign before your character will be grouped and sorted
1) First and for most, this site is for people of all ages, that includes minors, any behaviour by ANY member that is of an explicit, racist, violent, sexual, or any other sort of inappropriate behaviour will NOT be tolerated. If you do engage in such actions you will receive a warning, should the behaviour continue, you will be banned. The staff reserve the right to immediately ban any member they see as being completely inappropriate with out warning. Swearing is also included in this rule. Any posts with are rated more than PG must have a warning in the title and be restricted to suitable boards only
2) This is my personal golden rule, please please, NO GOD MODDING. There is no need for it and it is not fair to the other members who are RPing fairly. For those who do not know what god modding is, it is controlling another characters actions, rather than letting them control what they do next.(you must chose one smiley to add to your profile application) For example, if you punch someone, you MUST let them react the way they wish, they can either block you or get hit by you, but it is up to them no one else.
3) Here there is a post limit of two good size paragraphs, make your posts interesting and of a good quality please. If you are continually under the limit you will receive a warning, if it does not improve you will be asked to leave the site.

4) Under no circumstance are you to use chat speak, such as lol, u, kewl, etc anyway on the boards, it is annoying and lazy, it does not take much effort to write out your words in proper English. I also ask that you keep an eye on your grammar and spelling, I understand we are not all spelling whizzes, trust me, I'm useless, but as there is a spell check available there is really no excuse for spelling mistakes, so please try and use it. It is after all rather embarrassing for you if your posts are full of errors!
5) As this RPG is following a fairly strict plot line (which you must read about, I promise it is interesting.) any semi-important to major plot ideas must be approved by Admin. Semi Plots that affect the whole board need to be approved, not minor ones for a few characters.
6) Please do not delete your characters if you plan to leave us. It ruins the boards and makes things look ugly which I hate So just leave the characters there and in-active if you are sadly leaving us.
7) There is to be no spamming or advertising other sites to our members. Through PM or any other way. If you have a site you wish to advertise please do so in the advertisement section thank you.
8)All signatures must be 500 x 200 maximum, and not larger than 200 KB. And avatars have a limit of 100 x 100, with a maximum of 50 KB. Any graphics over these sizes will be removed by admin. This includes any extras such as text that you add to your signature. If you want help with making your graphics the right side feel free to PM one of the staff. You may not have any graphics that glitter, flash, move or are anime. Any of these will be removed without warning. They are annoying and detract attention from the Role Playing!
9) Members may have no more than 2 characters, if you are found to have more than 2 they will be deleted with out warning. We also ask that your first character has at least 50 posts before making another one. You can have two to start, then they need to have those first two characters with 50 posts each before having another.
10) You must post a character application within three days of joining or your account will be deleted. We want active, involved members on the site
11) Please try to keep the number of threads your character is involved in to 3 or less. This is to try and keep the linear continuity of the board under control, and to also combat the tendency for threads to be forgotten about or to become inactive or held up by members who are in to many threads at once.
12) For the sack of my and the other staffs sanity and the consideration of members with not so good eye sight, please do NOT use any other font size except the default of size 2. This means NO posts in size 1. Also try not to use really bright colours as they do not show up very well with the gray or blue skins.
13) Finally and most importantly, have FUN!! Please feel free to PM me or any of the other staff if you have any questions about any of the above rules. Also, please try out for the major canon's if you think you would like to RP them. With out them the plot will be hard to progress
